Learning Beyond the Visit

An integrated exhibit Website connects with visitors before and after their visit. A combination of engaging online games, downloadable teacher resources, and family learning activities combine to create an integrated learning experience that extends the impact of the exhibit for weeks or months.

We designed Conservation Central for Smithsonian's National Zoo with two major goals in mind: 1) to provide highly engaging activities that encourage “family learning” on temperate forest habitat conservation, and 2) to provide innovative standards-based resources that middle school teachers can integrate into their existing curricula.

Other past projects include a streaming video/QTVR website developed in conjunction with MediaOne for their nationally-promoted broadband website, and an online webgame for Tom Snyder Productions, in addition to extensive project development by Education Director Paula Sincero.

Sample Exhibit Websites may include:

Online games designed to draw a national audience
Downloadable learning guides for teachers and families
Traveling exhibit resources to connect host institutions
